Miguel Rodríguez Artacho (Ph. D.) is researcher and associate professor at UNED University, Spain. He is a member of the Learning Technologies and Cooperative Systems group coordinated by Felisa Verdejo (LTCS group – http://ltcs.uned.es) at LSI Department. Main research focuses on the development of learning content specifications to model individual and collaborative learning processes, learning resources and tools. He has strongly contributed to the development of PALO Language (http://sensei.lsi.uned.es/palo), one of the first proposals of Educational Modeling Languages, currently in exploitation at UNED, and has also participated on the description of the “Active Document approach” to model collaborative learning, along with other members of LTCS group at UNED. Currently main rearch focus on Semantic Web uses for e-Learning. Since 1999 actively participates in Learning Technology standardization groups like CEN/ISSS LTWS and others and since 2005  co-holds the technical secretariat of Spanish e-learning standardization body AEN/CTN71/SC36. He has been  ITC Manager Director at UNED University (2003-2006) and invited panelist and chair of LT related conferences and has several publications concerning educational content modeling and collaborative learning environments.
